LA FONT DE GAT: Secret Terrace in Montjuïc
Hidden in the park of Montjuïc and surrounded by gardens with the city at its feet, the terrace of La Font del Gat is the main charm of this small and informal café-restaurant that many people in Barcelona do not know. Open from Tuesday to Sunday at noon (menu of the day) and in the evening they are open for groups. They have an original menu and a surprisingly sophisticated cuisine. In addition, it is a terrace with history. Its building was built by the famous architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch and a few meters from the Font del Gat.

ANTIC TEATRE: discover this terrace in Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera
Just by climbing the small stairs located in Verdaguer i Callís street, 12, you escape from the big city to enter another dimension. More than a terrace, it is a garden in the middle of the city that hides behind the walls of the theater. With vegetation and anarchic organization crowned by a large central tree, there seems to be no stress, only good vibes and the desire to laugh and have fun. Drinks and snacks are available (but no lunch or dinner). Undoubtedly one of our favorites. The only ‘downside’ is that it is somewhat punished by tourism. Open every day (check opening hours on their website).

JARDIN DEL ALMA: a hidden gem in the Eixample neighborhood
Inside the Hotel Alma in Barcelona, we find another jewel of the city. In this case its restaurant with terrace, or rather, with a huge garden ideal for a drink as a couple or with friends. The sensation is like being in a dreamy fairy tale. The truth is that it is ideal if you want to surprise someone on a first date. You will succeed for sure. It is an affordable luxury, because even if it costs a little more than average, with this environment it is less expensive.

FRAGMENTS: surprise terrace in Les Corts
To find this beautiful terrace you have to go to Plaça de la Concòrdia. There you will find the Fragments Restaurant, which has a nice terrace at the foot of the square. But that, although it is very nice, is not the secret terrace that we want to reveal. If you enter and cross the restaurant, inside you will find an intimate terrace, perfect for relaxing. And if you also accompany this exquisite atmosphere with any of its dishes, the plan becomes perfect.
HOTEL NERI: the best terrace of Ciutat Vella
This terrace is undoubtedlythe most romantic in the city. Located on the roof of the hotel, it is small and cozy. Ideal for couples who want to take a little time for themselves and disconnect from the city. You can have a drink and also lunch or dinner. Any dish is executed to perfection, a high level Mediterranean cuisine with a good quality-price ratio. Ideal for couples’ anniversaries, although if you go with friends or families, you will love it.
TERRAZA DEL OLIVIA (Ciutat Vella)
If you work downtown and need to unwind after work after one of those hard days, do this: call your friends or your partner and go straight to the Olivia Plaza Hotel Terrace. A good glass ofwine with those views (nothing more and nothing less than a skyline of the city) and in that environment, will take away all the evils. Don’t you know the Marès Museum? If so, you will not forget it now. Because inside it houses a quiet and beautiful terrace that offers a menu with a healthy will. If you are strolling through the Gothic Quarter and need to take a break on the way is a must stop.
